i've always thought this songs was about someone who knows they have aids and they still have unpretected sex and do unclean needle drugs and just don't care about their own life becuase theye are already dead, they're in to deep, can't touch the bottom.

IMO it is about drug use.
".....this land is mine, this land is free
i'll do what i want, but irresponsibly
    it's evolution baby...."
  • Cool, there are some songs like this one that i've never really thought about them having a meaning behind them. There was a thread on Wash recently on the same topic.

Wash is about a guy addicted to opposite sexuality and not being able to defeat it.
"Wash" my love for wanting to fuck every female that moves...

yeah i read, eddie uses a drowning refernce to discribe drug addiction
  • that he was walking down this street in Seattle on a beautiful day and he looked up and in the windowsill of the apt. building next to him he saw a guy sitting there doing junk- so I guess the irony of the whole moment made the song what it became

    one of my faves btw.
Everybody misses Andy- we'll be seeing him in no time!
