Sleight of Hand

I've always like this song, but in the past week or 2 I started loving it and I don't know why. I was wondering if anyone else loves this song as much as I do.
I shouldn't have to fight a battle I'll never win, just to lose those I've never had.

I fucking love this song. It's the perfect song to listen to in your car driving at night when it's raining.

Instintly was my favorite song on Binaural, and is in my top five ALL TIME Pearl Jam songs. I love how dark and moody it is. I just seemed to connect to the song right away. Its actually the same kind of reaction that I had when I first listened to YOU ARE.

On the bootleg Mass 11 2003, the 1st CD is acoustic. Sleight of Hand is my favorite...the acoustic guitars are surreal. Anyone know who is playing? Does McCready do acoustic, is it Gossard or both?
Its not the world thats heavy

One of my favorites of all time. When they did it acoustically at Mansfield in 2003, it truly did send shivers up my spine. It's also a great example of Ed's poetic use of the "F" word. There was a thread a while back about that and I think that version of Sleight of Hand illustrates that beautifully. "Trapped on a road he fucking knew by heart".

I can listen to that song any day, any time.

  • It is great and i love listening to it. But does anyone else find it really heavy going? It's def one of those songs i have to be in the mood for.
