Physical Tickets

Looking through the information on the European tour it appears that all Ten club tickets will be physical.  I know that it would just be speculation but does anyone think that this means that we won't see the electronic tickets for future US tours?

  • Good question - don't know.  I know there were some issues with mobile last year.

  • Maybe the issue with the stadium tour was strictly logistics.  Maybe due to the number of tickets that the Ten Club got for these shows it would have been too difficult to hand them all out.  But I seem to remember a lot of discussion about how electronic tickets were going to force people to limit memberships since only one ticket of each pair was transferable.  Unless I'm missing something everything is back to "normal" in Europe with ticket winners being able to sell an extra pair at face value.

They used the same ”normal” system also with EV shows this summer in Europe

They distributed paper tickets for baseball stadium shows in 2016 so I don't think it was an issue with quantity of tickets. More likely just another step to try and minimize scalping and the like.
    This weekend we rock Portland

Which after the last tour, we found out screenshots work, so if they repeat that process it's super easy to give other people your tickets (unless the improve the service with animations on the screen and ushers that care about it).
