My "other" choice...thanks to the Netflix show Big Mouth for introducing this song to me.

The love he receives is the love that is saved

    Easy one this time

2Pac in a close second. The Zombies' in 3rd.  I don't know the Common song & never heard of Faul & Wad Ad but the rest are all far superior to Bowie's; I never got the appeal of that song.

    Black Sabbath
Candlebox's "Change" missed the cut by not being plural. :)

I wish he was still around
  • 2pac
That 2Pac song was great.  I would have voted for Black Sabbath only if the Sweet Leaf cough was included at the end of the song...

I think it might be my favorite song of his.  Definitely top 3.

    Ch-ch-ch-changes!

The Hendrix choice really should be attributed to Buddy Miles.  Buddy wrote the song and Jimi attributes it to him here:

“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.
