First Time In Seattle- What's Cool to See?

I'm gonna be in Seattle for the first time January 24/25.  Will be heading to MoPOP to check out the PJ and Nirvana exhibits and Easy Street Records to do some shopping.

What else is cool to check out from a PJ / music historical POV or a tourist attraction that is really worth visiting?

Excited to see the city.  Let me know where to go, what to do and some good food.  Thanks

The Underground Tour is neat. The Adult Underground Tour is even better.

  • Eat some poke/sushi/seafood
Seattle has good options for these delicious foods.

  • If you're in Pioneer Square doing the Underground tour, you should hop the ferry.  There are two routes you can take, Seattle to Bainbridge Island and Seattle to Bainbridge Island.  You can drive your car on or you can just walk on (far cheaper).  Any season of the year, it's a great view of the city and the surrounding islands, super photo opps.  Both Bainbridge and Bremerton are small towns that you can walk to from the ferry terminal, grab a bite sort of thing.  Here's an article from the Seattle Times that lists some local PJ spots to visit (the article is 2 years old so look up the places before you go, our city is changing rapidly).  https://www.seattletimes.com/pacific-nw-magazine/pearl-jams-early-road-to-success/.  I hope you enjoy our city!

Second that if it's not tough for you to venture that way. Cool stuff to see and people that work there are really friendly.
