    It seems to be a return to their roots, with a bit of old rock feel...I love it. Vintage PJ...reminds me of the Vitalogy CD.

    OK, here's my opinion of the track (not that anyone's bothered...!)

    - awesome build-up intro
    - huge, spacey production. nice.
    - sounds like it could have been off Vitalogy, but feels more positive / upbeat
    - very Who-like
    - deep lyrics without being condescending
    - anti b*sh without being bushleaguer (which I thought was a waste of an album track)
    - Eddie's voice is back on form after his mumbling on RA & I love Stone's backing vox

    all in all 7.5 out of Ten (impressed but could do better)

    i think it rocks as does PJ....every chance i have to listen to it i do and repeat it several times..i am sure the rest of the album will only be better...getting back to their roots...

    I think WWS is a serious letdown. I almost want to say it sucks balls. I had such high hopes for this new album... now I find myself wishing Al Gore was elected prez. 6 years ago so we wouldn't have to hear all the political bullshit in the lyrics and PJ could finally rock again.
    I really screwed that up. I really Schruted it.

    Hint of maybe pearl jam getting back to their best, feels a more free flowing sound lets hope the album follows suit.

    Stones background vocals and the guitar riffs rock in this song.

    "W W Suicide" is yet another mediocre (at best) Pearl Jam single... WTF happened to my favorite band??!! I realize beauty is in the eye/ear of the beholder but I'm amazed then anyone can be excited about this song. I think the B-Side "Unemployable" is much better but still just an average PJ track. My guess is that this new album will be like their last few - a couple great tracks, a couple good ones and a lot of filler... Very sad...

    being a singer myself....i can say eddies vocals are incredible on this song but stones backing are even better...such fine backing is hard to find...

    I always have to get used to new PJ stuff, not really liking it at first. I like WWS fine already though, so it might turn out great :D

    I liked it. It sounds like vintage Pearl Jam....vintage "No Code" to "Riot Act" era PJ tunes, that is.

    For what it is worth, it was the effort of finding that single online that had me finally stumble on the new and improved Pearl Jam homepage and this Message Pit.
