Boston 2010 looks great on paper, and sounds great on a boot... but the sound in the building that night was so horrible that it would take me well into a song to even know what it was. All a muddy, distorted, unintelligible mess.
I had a few friends all around the venue that night, we were texting each other throughout the show commenting about how bad the sound was... not even just among PJ shows.. but one of the worst sounding shows I have ever witnessed.
Couple great songs, though!Post edited by mikerl onHartford 1996, Hartford 1998, Mansfield 1 1998, Mansfield 1 2000, Mansfield 2 2000, Albany 2003, MSG 2 2003, Mansfield 3 2003, Boston 2 2004, Albany 2006, Boston 2 2006, Mansfield 2 2008, Boston 2010, Worcester 1 2013, Worcester 2 20130 -
Berlin needs some love you guys. One of the best Black performances of all timeHi, I host a Pearl Jam Podcast. We go back to some of the classic shows in their history and break down the entire setlist front to back. From historic perspective, to performances, to setlist construction, to fan stories. We do our best to capture the magic that is their live act and help you relive those memories, or if you weren't there, maybe turn you on to a show you've never heard before.
Live On 4 Legs can be found on Apple Podcast, Spotify and any other major podcast platform. But please support our website and check out the episodes archived there. Oh, and the Concertpedia as well (for you Five Horizons and Two Feet Thick fans, we've picked up where they've left off)

Yep, that is one that I picked as well. Love that show. The love he receives is the love that is saved0

I was at both Boston and Hartford and while Hartford was good, Boston was much better. A show with Sad, Pilate, Push Me Pull Me, Undone, Red Mosquito, Rival, Solider of Love, and Crown of Thorns is tough to beat.0

OTOTO in Hartford was awesome but Boston was the better show.

Hello all! We at Live On 4 Legs are conducting individual polls in attempt to determine the Top Ten BEST Pearl Jam shows of the decade!
Every few days we’ll release a new poll by year and the highest voted shows will then go on to a final round of 25 or 30 that will get whittled down to a Top Ten of the entire decade. We’ll be releasing the Top Ten on an episode to kick off the new year!
First up is 2010. Please vote for up to 5 shows and try not to exceed it!
we’re looking for all different voices throughout the Pearl Jam community to chime in on this, please feel free to share this on your social media pages and in other groups and forums. Thank you for participating!0 -
...er, assuming 2010 is starting a 2010-20198 run and not ending a 2001-2010 run.0

I was at Bristow. Underrated gig because the crowd was on and off. Where I was, it was the clearest I’ve ever heard Eds voice. And Ed sounded great that tour. Loved the setlist, it’s certainly got a random kind of flow. Good boot, worth a listen.Out of all the 2010 shows, I go to listen to Columbus the most. Fun show, taking shots at national prayer day. Also a near perfect setlist imo. Ed was clearly in a great mood and loved the crowd.2008: Bonnaroo
2010: Bristow
2012: Atlanta
2013: Charlottesville, Charlotte
2014: Cincinnati
2016: Greenville, Hampton, Raleigh (cancelled), Columbia, Lexington

I was not at Boston 2010.
I was at Hartford 08, 10 and 13.
I was at 2010 both MSG and Hartford.
For me 2010 Hartford was the most fun I ever had at a show. OTOTO Best Poster Ever, $5 parking, man everything just went RIGHT that night.
2010 MSG was maybe the best PJ show i've ever seen...Those '94 shows are tough to top.0 -
