If it is not today, I am sure there are some other astute detectives on here that have already discovered January 10th is the first full moon of 2020...  If the additional announcement and/or album info was related to the moon imagery, it may make more sense to tie it to something with new beginnings- not an ending of an activity absent year.  Additionally, the first moon is also known as the Wolf Moon.  The story goes that people could hear the hungry wolves howling at the wolf moon outside the village walls.  If there is a political connotation, I think we can make of that what we will.  Plus, the band seems to love announcing things on the 10th...
If they have time to ponder to this degree then they have time to get two fan club singles out!
Was wondering about that. When are we expecting those?

No one knows.   There is another thread about it you can check out.

Well, it sucks but it's hard to be disappointed.  We KNOW something is coming, and that's pretty awesome.

I have some epic holiday partying to do this weekend, but I'll have to make sure to keep checking this thread during pee breaks to see if Dimi drops any more hints our way.  Enjoy the weekend, folks!

Right on. 2020 is shaping up to be quite a year for PJ goodness.
    🤙
  • Up until a few days ago we didn't even think ANY of this was happening. So no need to be disappointed without an announcement today, still so much great news this week! The fact that we have a definite NA tour to EXPECT at this point is already huge, whenever it's officially announced.  Also, it's friday!!!!
  • Just reminding everyone Wrigley August 8th & 10th are leading Chicago rumors.  Won't due Lola or United Center as long as Theo is with Cubs.  My guess is spring announcement will be like 2016, here are the spring dates and another drawing will be head later for late summer/early fall ball parks.
  • I'm dreaming of another Hartford show (knowing that its most likely just a dream).  You can't beat a show only 15 minutes or so from your home.  If there are no shows in New England this spring I'll try to find something in driving distance.  Its just really hard to get away from the family if only for a night.
    Boston (4/10/94), Hartford (10/2/96), Barre (8/22/98), Hartford (9/13/98), Mansfield (9/15/98 + 9/16/98), Mansfield (8/29/00 + 8/30/00), Mansfield (7/2/03 + 7/11/03), Boston (9/28/04), Hartford (5/13/06), Boston (5/24/06 + 5/25/06), Hartford (6/27/08), Mansfield (6/28/08 + 6/30/08), Philadelphia (10/31/09), Hartford (5/15/10), Worcester (10/15/13 + 10/16/13), Hartford (10/25/13), New York (5/1/16), Boston (8/5/16 + 8/7/16), Boston (9/2/18 + 9/4/18)

Maddon is gone and the Cubs are now on a Sinclair-owned network.  I hope they create some distance from the Cubs.  I'm a lifelong die-hard fan, but I can't support Sinclair.  A Wrigley show is of course better than no Chicago shows (I had a blast at all 5 Chicago and both Home shows) and WAY WAY better than Lolla, but yeah, let's go back to the UC please.

We probable have 4 weeks of spicy rumors before real news. Spicy 1 is in the SW. Spicy 2 is a 6 hour train ride east followed by a 5 hour bus ride north. That's 11 hours. Must mean something. Spicy 3 no hints.

It always made more sense to me that they would announce US/Canada tour dates separate from the 12 days of PJ.  I just didn't see it coming as part of the 12 days promotion.  While the Euro dates were announced on the same day that the 12 days kicked off, it was a separate announcement.

I still think a Monday announcement is possible.  It would allow them to benefit from the 12 days of PJ keeping the band at the top of social media feeds, and they would still have enough time to conclude the 10C ticket drawing before they close down for Christmas.

Here's hoping we get something early next week.  But even if not, we have a lot to look forward to in 2020.

The Red Sox MLB site says that Motley Crew is there on August 25th.  Green Day is on August 27th.  And Billy Joel is on August 28th.  I'm not an expert on the situation but I'm guessing that if they play Fenway again it would need to be in September.  The good news is that recently they have had 8-10 shows at the park and so far only 5 are announced for 2020.

They are also out of town August 3rd through the 9th so there could be some potential there. Played August 5th and 7th at Fenway back in ‘16.

Although Dimi did hint at no stadiums so maybe it is strictly spring and fall arenas this time around with decent breaks before and after Europe...

The fish and chips hint we saw dozens of pages ago remains very interesting, from a New England point of view.
