Will we be able to transfer tickets to a friend as long as we don't scalp them? Not clear on this.
Pretty sure this will be fine as long as you do it through their trading website starting Feb 18
    NO

Read the rules and conditions. Tickets are NOT transferable except in NY and CO because of laws. It’s not a “trading website” it’s a fan fo fan face value resale site where you sell your tickets if you cannot make the show.

All tickets are Non-Transferable and Non-Refundable. Pearl Jam has asked Ticketmaster to ensure their fans have access to tickets at face value. To achieve this, Pearl Jam has directed that tickets be non-transferable.* On the night of the show, all guests will be required to enter with the ticket purchaser. For fans that cannot use the tickets they have purchased, Pearl Jam and Ticketmaster will offer a Fan-to-Fan Face Value Ticket Exchange* beginning February 18. There will be no additional fees charged to Exchange users for buying or selling tickets on the Exchange.

*Does not apply to shows in New York or Colorado.

  • For the presale, I want GA...but should I put both GA and reserved just in case? Like how we used to do on the Tenclub page? When you click both boxes, it highlights "Best available." What are you guys doing?

I think Best available is the best option if u wanna get in the door!!!

    i clicked both...

I think that's the way to go. Thanks.
The only time "best available" will help you is if you're ok with doing GA or seats - and aren't set in either wanting only GA or only seats.  If you choose only GA, and you get drawn after GA is already done, you won't get tickets.
That's the thing. I want GA. But like you said, just choosing that puts you at risk of not getting any tickets. I just hope "best available" will mean GA.

I might be remembering wrong but I think with the previous way, you were able to put one as your first choice and the other as your second. That's really what I want: GA....but seats if I must.
I'm the inverse - I really don't want GA, I'd like a seat.  BUT... I don't know how that hurts my chances by only selecting Seats....
or you can come to terms and realize
you're the only one who can forgive yourself oh yeah...
makes much more sense to live in the present tense...

I know exactly what you mean. I also chose Best Available. Would prefer GA over Reserved; but will take reserved if I don't get GA. The question is, does TM consider GA better than Reserved.
Oh, if I knew where it was I would take you there...

What’s also interesting is that indicates that the fan to fan resale site will NOT be used for the Denver and MSG show.

Doesn't NY have to get hard tickets? Thought I remember something about that. Never been to a show in Denver.

It sounds like to me that this Fan-to_Fan Exchange is a fancy way of saying they will allow refunds.

I believe you must be given the option to have hard tickets, however that law may have changed in the past few years.

No, it's just a random number

Kind of.  But the person that bought the tickets for $250 can't turn around and sell them for $700

The GA/Reserved selection process needs to be clarified it seems.  Is every show tossed into one batch, and if that member is chosen for that show, it's automatically GA first and Reserved 2nd?  I know these questions are getting asked over and over, but haven't seen a real clear explanation yet.
