Have you seen the CD for sale anywhere in Canada?  I ordered from Amazon but it's not going to ship until May.  10c is sold out.  Trying to figure out how to get one.

Yes you can, the blank parts will not ruin the needle.  Playing the etched part will cause minor excess wear, but not ruin it.

The vinyl though, will get needle drag marks on it and probably not worth it on a 40-some-odd dollar album.  Blank vinyl is good for testing your anti-skate. If your cartridge pulls to the left or right while playing on a blank surface, your anti-skate is off.

Your friend got a head start on April Fools, all I hear are waves and sea urchins.
