debstroz - "4 years ago today, Pearl Jam teased us with a snippet of what was the first single off Gigaton - Dance of the Clairvoyants. I could sure use a new single about now #pearljam#grunge#90smusic#90s#rockmusic
Man, I remember trying to get my kid to bed before Dance of the Clairvoyants was released. Pipsqueak caught on to how excited I was and couldn't sleep either. Then she interrupted me during the first play of the first song ! I'm pretty sure I was not so cool. I booked it to the can to be alone and stayed up half the night fantasizing like Riff Randall.
Love that they put thought into their releases. Too many people complain.
I fully expect more to come for Dark Matter. Just wish I didn't know as much from the boards to spoil that WTF moment I'm sure plenty of people getting 10C emails will have today.
Not even. That's equivalent album units, i.e., sales plus streaming. Its actual sales are surely below 150,000, possibly well below 150,000. In its first week, it sold 57,000 units and had 6,000 equivalent units from streaming. You can extrapolate from there.

If I had to guess. I would say 130k were physical
Seems reasonable. I wish I had the data to be able to pin this down precisely.

It's shocking. I believe 10 out of that 130k is from me. Various CD & Vinyl edition purchases.

At first, I read this as 10K instead of 10 and I thought, "Sounds about right for Demetrios."

lol . Too bad they didn't release variant vinyl editions for Gigaton like they have been doing for Dark Matter at the moment.
