I got to see them for the first time last night and I created the thread in advance out of excitement.

Ooooweee it was great. Columbia crowds are strange sometimes and the venue was probably only filled to half of the capacity. Either way, the band puts on a superb show and they can ROCK. Hearing ‘Girlfriend’ and ‘Let the Band Play’ were my highlights.

I will make it to every show I can. Considered going up to Charlotte for the show tonight, but I don’t think it will work out. Hoping for another US leg in the spring or summer.

If anyone here is hearing of them for the first time, my personal recommendation would be to listen to ‘Let the Band Play’ first. Then the whole new album all the way through!

  • I am glad they gave that song an acoustic treatment. Works great for it. Really excited about what is next for them. Also trying to get to the show in Atlanta this January.

let’s get some love for Badflower going again!

New album came out very recently entitled ‘This Is How The World Ends’

I have listened through it two times, some thoughts:
-the song Johnny Wants to Fight is a banger! I could listen to it on repeat and I cant wait to witness it live (hopefully) later this month
-I think the first half of the album carries the second half just a bit
-I like their first album better because it is a “no skip” type album for me, but this new one is a solid offering
