    I was very confused why OKC didn't trounce them too.  I don't see that happening this year.

    Maybe first year final jitters?

    As mentioned, I’ve been a fan of SAS since David Robinson was drafted… I was a big Nike guy I guess.. he had the Air Force ones , probably why I’m a Falcons fan for Deion… Bo Jackson, his Airness ..  I liked individual players and that determined my team affiliations … and I’m loyal, sometimes to a fault so I always stick by my teams/ friends etc. Watching David lose to Hakeem/ to Barkley that one year.. I was like it’s tough sledding with Michael always out there… he retires, Duncan lottery ( Hi Poncier 😀) sore subject with Celtic fans but Fuck u guys and all those banners 😛… them in 1999 they went to 1st finals and I wanted to go so bad.. I was young, tix were so expensive being Knocks 1st finals in 20 plus years.. my Dad was like … don’t worry your team is just getting started.. we will see a finals game one day 


    Then the fucking Kobe/Shaq dynasty took over and you think.. fuck who’s gonna beat this?? Ginobli / Parker additions, Bruce Bowen as the Kobe defender flipped it… it’s 2003 my father sees this great team Make the finals… he surprises me with Game 1 in fuckin San Antonio tix cause he was the best… just a great man who wanted to share with me this joy … I was engaged at the time and he even bought my ex fiancé a ticket/ Airfare etc and sent us on our way… I was fucking so happy and they won game 1… what a great gift. Me n her only lasted a few weeks after this 😆… I was 22 and she was 23… no business being engaged but we tried. Then game 3 my dad’s like… you ready a few hours prior on the day of.. he breaks out 2 tix in Nj 😎… I never hugged someone so hard, o was on cloud 9 and we went and they won… uo 2-1 now and eventually won in 6. 


    I’ve seen Spurs at least once every year since 1996 here in the tristate.. either in MSG/ Barclays or NJ… lotta yrs both trips, I was in SA a few times as well … my dad passed in 2007 and seeing this Leung right now as I’m dealing with some really difficult things is really helping me tremendously … it sounds stupid, I get it… but the fabric of it is really special to me. Generational talents over 3 decades is amazing to watch, that city goes all out for them similar to Green Bay. Worst kart is that ex had my pics or lost them from 2003 and some other years… she claims they were lost in her moving or something… I’d fuckin pay so much for them..  pre smart phones, I relied on her camera … 


    So they win the title

    We broke up weeks later ( unrelated, just wasn’t good idea for us young people) 


    Then few weeks after … the craziest shit happened to me… my fault ultimately but the craziest month of my life… the highs were so high… the lows took me years to pick up the pcs and I had to pull back in life to Survive and be where I am today…  then it got better by 2006 lets say then he was diagnosed with 6 months to live in 2007!@ 55… non smoker/ barely drank.. good shape, he was still playing soccer with his homies … and then you have me whose never turned down a good time… I’ve been good for a long time but it’s tough to think like that I guess . 


    I hope they continue to make me proud, I love how they were doing it with their 5 titles … lot of reclamation projects with a few hall of famers… great model for life. I’d love to go back to the finals, and look it..  Croatia plays England June 17 in Dallas while game 5/6/7 are all around that time… I can only Dream. 


    I wish he was still here so I can Treat him to some World Cup and some nba playoffs/ finals… I know I’m getting ahead of myself 🤓… regardless it’s been a great year watching these young guys mature. 


    Me today going to My 2 hour Hyperbaric chamber strutting my Spurs hoodie getting shot talked by Knicks fans at the hospital.. they still remember 1999 🫢


    I’m sure lotta casual fans only pay attention to Lakers/ Knicks/ Heat… big markets, don’t forget if you are a true fan… SAS in 2013/14… the lose to Miami ( Fuck you Jesus Shuttlesworth  🙃)  and that shot that would’ve made it 6/6 like Jordan… they were playing some of the best basketball in league history with the passing, unselfish game… this year too, I’m biased a little but they are years ahead of schedule

    Spurs need to jump on MN Wolves with Ant looming, even if he was 100% I’d say Spurs in 6 but that’s why they play the game 

    if they eventually get to OKC… I’m seeing their 2nd 1st  RD  pick , Carter Bryant on SGA in big moments.. mostly down the stretch … he’s a great defender… he’s bigger and has great lateral movement

    My raps forced a game 7 tonight with another massive performance by Scottie Barnes. He had a crazy dunk after he spun by Harden and then crammed it on Allen. He then got a block going back the other way. 

    Oh, and RJ hit a Kawhi esque shot at the end.

    I watched… hope they win … I always root vs any team that has Harden or any Kardashian fuck boy on it 😆 that fuckin beard and he looks fat all the time , sweating like a hog trying to draw whistles 

    Kawhi was and still is one of my faves… I didn’t like the way he forced his way out of SA, thought it was tacky considering his allegations vs a first class organization. Just say you want out, his uncle is a POS… his sister even in the can for Murderong a dude… Yikes

    but that set us up for Wemby… so that’s acceptable looking back 😎 and I’m glad you guys won the Chip … that was a Jordan like run by Kawhi, Clipper curse is real…

    If the Spurs don't win against the Wolves there will be many other years to come for them to be dominant. Wemby vs Gobert is a fun matchup.

    Knicks are suddenly blowing out their opponents?  Did the beast awake in them?

    I have little faith in my Lakers against the Thunder. If Lebron decides to turn it up and turn back the clock like last series we might see some magic but I have Shai and company repeating.

    I want to see Wemby go up against Holmgren again.

    Pistons and Cavs are the little engines that could. I enjoy watching Cade ball out.
