  • So I hear Bradley Beals name a lot about needing a new team.  Didn't he just resign w the wizards for a huge contract?

Brooklyn beats the damn Clippers.  Those guys are no joke now, man they are getting better.  I think a bunch of us were dead wrong about that team...

IMO it’s Embiid’s for the taking.
It should be, but it’s not. FanDuel currently has LeBron at +150 and Joel at +350. DraftKings has it at +150 and +300.

Embiid just had one of the greatest individual performances in Philadelphia sports history to drag his team to a win without his 2nd best player. Meanwhile the Lakers are struggling at home against inferior opponents without Davis.

Embiid has him beat quite healthily in almost every single statistical category. Yet the odds barely budge.

And oh yeah, the biggest knock against Embiid right now is his number of games played. Last weeks game against the Jazz is one that he was particularly criticized for missing, being that they were such a quality opponent. He missed that game because of back tightness. When did this back tightness start? When Le-Bron-fu-KING-James pushed him in midair because his ego couldn’t handle being dunked on.

I’ve always liked LeBron for the most part, but this season has made me feel really gross about him and the way he is viewed/treated by the media and league.

LBJ is not winning any MVP this year.  His PER is lowest it's been in a long time and that is saying something considering he's still top 20 in that.

You’re making the mistake of thinking that logic has anything to do with this decision.

Then I go with the eye test.  Embiid has been nothing short of stellar this year.  LBJ will cruise until the playoffs still being one of the best on the court but not exerting himself too far.

Last year I did think he should have won it.  This year?  Not even close.

I expect both those teams to catch up and pass Utah.  Lakers are going to suffer a wee bit and go through some growing pains without having AD in the lineup.

    No Embiid.
    No one is arguing that.

LBJ was mentioned to be a frontrunner this year which he is not but I think should have won last year.  Embiid is the clear favorite this year so far.
  • Doncic is a killer
I said this about him last year, get the boy some help and that team is lethal.  Porzingis when healthy is a great 1-2 but he can't seem to stay on the court.

I noticed that Luka’s 3-pt % was almost up to 35% on the season, which I thought was weird because I remembered hearing not too long ago that he was only at like 29%. So I looked up his stats for the last 10 games and he’s been at 44.7% 😳. If he ever ends up being close to 40% or so with the kind of volume that he shoots and with all of his other skills...look out.
