I am the biggest critic of Mr Westbrook but I don't think people w a high average of assists have many zero turnover games.  Consider that Chris Paul has played 1100 games and 100 of them were zero turnover games.

Not saying that Westbrook isn't great in this statistic it's just one of those bad ones that you can tear down a bit.

He is playing really bad for the Lakers right now.

Yep. This seems like another one of those weird random stats designed to catch people's attention.  I was arguing about in the Sixers thread. The best point guards in the league average at least 3 turnovers a game. Russ leads the league in turnovers for pg's it seems, but to talk about the last zero turnover game is kind of pointless.

WITH THAT SAID....Russell Westbrook has been overrated for years. lol

Yep.  I have always called these stupid ass stats out.  It is a great "Look at me" grab.  I can easily look up or crunch my own numbers to let everyone smell the waffing bullshit from it, lol.

Yeah, that's not true.  He has been a top 10 guy for years.  you don't average a triple double 2 years in a row and play bad.  He isn't my ideal type of player and I do say he never wins a championship but to say that he is bad is just silly.

I thought he and KD together were amazing actually.  They should have beat the Warriors 2 years in a row but for whatever reason couldn't.  KD bailed and joined them.  What's that tell you?

He doesn't grab rebounds like Barkley or Rodman, no one does that anymore.  That art is gone.  Gobert gets so many because no one goes up against him and he's bigger than everyone else.

If he tweaked his game ever so slightly I'd love him.

Overrated?  Yes I 'll say that in a way.

Grizzlies definitely in the conversation for the NBA finals. A Grizzlies-Cavs NBA finals would be interesting.

Finals?  Stop it, you're delusional.  They'll be lucky to make it to the 2nd rd.  No way they get past the Suns, Jazz or GS.

Grizz are 2-1 against GS, 1-1 against PHX, and beat Utah on the road the only time they've played.

3rd in the west right now, won 22 of the last 27 games they've played. 3rd in the NBA in PPG, 1st in rebounds, 1st in 2nd chance points, 1st in points in the paint.

"lucky to make the 2nd round" is comical.

Thank you for bringing actual information as to why the Grizzlies will be lucky to beat Minnesota, LA, LA, Portland in the first round.

I say that about a team that will get killed the 2nd rd.  They beat their first opponent then get manhandled in the 2nd rd.

They don't have "it" yet.  They don't matchup well against the Lakers if AD is in it.

Portland won't be in the playoffs.  I can also see Minnesota beating them.

How did the Grizzlies do yesterday against another juggernaut?

They still have work but they are going in the right direction.  If Morant develops a #, whoooo boy!

I'll tell you what's wrong w the Lakers.  They let Caruso go.  That dude brought grit to the team.  He did a lot of little things that you needed.  W him gone it's been a big notice.

Well I would tell you that they were without Desmond Bane, Dillon Brooks, Kyle Anderson & Tyus Jones, but I thought that the regular season didn't matter? If winning 11 in a row and 22 out of 27 doesn't mean anything then neither does losing 1 game on the road.

It matters as a talking point towards someone like you that's all but anointed them.  C'mon now....

What we should be talking about is how bad some teams are in the league, I mean really bad.  The Hawks and Kings are two teams in particular.  They both have supposed "stars" in De'aaron Fox and Trae Young.  The NBA does elevate them but their teams are just horrible.

Is it Super Team or bust now in the NBA?  You need at least 3 Allstars to become a legit contender?
