    Fire!  Good pick,  cdt!

Oh so hard to not vote for Arthur Brown but Jimi... had to do it!

Worth checking out if you haven't heard it:

“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.

I've been saving this one for a while.  I didn't want to burn through all of my heavy-hitters early on.

  • Kasabian
Tough choice, I'd say Kasabian. I would add prodigy and scooter too

There were so many options for this title.  I probably could have doubled the amount of artists listed above.

I had to vote for Arthur Brown. It was on a compilation tape that my dad used to play in the car all the time, so I’ve got a lot of fond road trip memories of that one

Prodigy? What are you trying to "start" there?

I'm a big U2 fan but it's impossible to deny the greatness of Jimi and his version.

I do love Jimi but this song has always been a favorite.  I bought the 45 when I was 13, still have it somewhere.

Really like both of those songs, but its hard to vote against Jimi.

A good list of songs for this one.
