    thats how he always ended it in '98, before they started doing longer endings in 2000 and unbearably long endings in 2003.

    I don't know about you guys, but i thought that was so cool at the time that they actually 'finished' the song on Dave. I mean, i think the whole time they were playing it i was thinking, 'This song fades out on the album, how are they gonna REALLY end it live Will they just go commercial at the fade out?(lol)".

    And, yeah, what you guys said is how they did it and consequently how i end it myself still when singing along to Yield.
