Lost Dogs

I've been listening to Disc 1 alot lately and I was wondering if they have ever played many of those songs live?

I heard Alone in STL '04 but have they ever played Sad, Undone, Education, Hold On, Black Red Yellow, or In the Moonlight?

I'd love to hear any of those songs live.

Not every show, but many. I have been to five concerts and only heard it once.

Sad is such an awesome song, I was lucky enough to see it live in Reading last year. I hope they play it a lot on their next tour.
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

Wow...that answers my question fully. thanks.

I think they should definitely play In the Moonlight, Don't Gimmie No Lip, and Undone on this next tour then. Maybe even some Hold On, beautiful song.

Oh, and another thing I was wanting to put out there for you guys....

I'm sure you've all read the booklet on the songs, and I was thinking..how do you think these songs (one's from regular PJ albums) would have change the album.

In other words, if In the Moonlight and Sad would've made it on Binaural would it have made the cd better, worse? Same goes for Alone and Yellow Ledbetter on Ten....

Don't get me wrong I love the albums how they are, but any of the Lost Dogs from 1 or 2 could have made it on those albums, and that's incredible in the least.

In the Moonlight just doesn't go with Binaural in my opinion. Yellow Ledbetter on the other hand should have been on Ten. It's PJ's best song evar.

Would you still think it is there best ever if it were on the record??

I think its place is perfect.

Lets also remember that as good as YL is, it is a SRV tribute,

the album had to be more original than that.

i like it the way they did it.

    respect to all opinions.

if one were to make an album, i'd say Hard to Imagine or Other Side.

Heh... You two aren't the only ones!

Unfortunately, I haven't been lucky enough to have seen Pearl Jam live, but I would LOVE to... but I don't have my license, so I have to wait until they come to a close stadium or something. I would love to hear Sad (my 1st of 2 favorite songs on the album, tied with Yellow Ledbetter), Hard to Imagine, Last Kiss, Strangest Tribe, Down... hell, I'd love to hear this whole album live!

Hey, Metallica did it with Master Of Puppets, so it could happen. But it probably won't.
  • I keep listening to no 2, sometimes I wonder if I will ever get tired of them? I loved them at the beginning of the 90s but I was only a teenager, then, after YELD, it kind of stopped for a few years and after having seeing them live 4 the 1st time last summer..it s worst than 15 years ago only I am not a teenager anymore!!!! Really one the greatest bands ever!

All Night was on the draft tracklisting for No Code, and Fatal was meant to be on Binaural but was dropped at last minute - they wouldve been great inclusions i think. theres a website that seems to have the draft tracklists somewhere, ill try find it...

anybody else think the best thing about Lost Dogs is the incredible guitars on Brother??
