My Bio

His birth name is Eric Pressman. He loves his career as a science teacher. He knows that Education is the key to a good society. Eric loves the ocean, surfing, playing my guitar, film, traveling, dining out. He loves Pearl Jam and relates to the front man's lyricsnamed Eddie Vedder. In dark times his lyrics may have saved him from depression. He has seen them live 33 times. He also loves  Radiohead. Pressman says he couldn't imagine having any other career. As a science teacher he is able  teach science, but also feels he can make positive impacts on the youth, they're our future. Eric Pressman believe in healthy living both body and mind. Exercise is an excellent release for him. When he's not reading about contemporary science, Eric enjoys books on spirituality. Eric Pressman was born into Judaism, however he uses many other religious teachings both western (Christianity) and eastern (Buddhism). His  favorite book is the Power of Now. It discusses how humans are tortured by their own minds, always dwelling in the past or forecasting some future which may be positive or negative.  Eric agrees that the untrained mind seeks to avoid the now and our ego allows this. This he believes is the cause of many of our anxieties and sadness. Live in the moment, it's the only reality we have. "Treat people the way you desire to be treated" he says. Be happy, Eric says this may be our only life and If you love what you do you'll never have to work again, ever. Don't be a slave to money. Your health is of up most importance. "Thinking about money will destroy you." he assures his students. Money does not buy happiness. Sadly Eric knows money is necessary in this society, but do your  best not to think about it.

    Greetings Eric!

From reading your brief bio, here's a book I'm guessing you might like very much, a book about Daniel Suelo called The Man Who Quit Money by Mark Sundeen.

“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.
