im an idiot

soooo pretty much im an idiot and didnt realize that the tom petty concert im going to is the same day i bought tickets to see pj in virginia beach....is there a way i can legally go about selling these tickets? How would someone be able to pick them up if they are under my name?

    Mistakes happen you are not an iddiot for buying tix too the same day.


    But you are for choosing Tom over P.J.
    Some people have religion I have Pearl Jam.

    I agree, the mistake would be choosing petty over pearl jam.

    my logic is that virginia is about 9 hrs away, and i havent found anyone to go with yet. but i have a date for petty and its an hour away. Not to mention ill be seeing PJ 2 or 3 others times this year

    Yeah I don't have much to add beyond that.
    Once in a while you can get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

    Most likely not, depending on the venue and who's working the window you may have to show picture ID.
    Plead your case to the 10C, they may understand although I would leave the Petty thing out of it

    yeah, you can sell them. for face value, after you pick them up in person at the venue...

    Yeah.
    Hopefully its in the same TOWN?

    Cause you can pick up the PJ tickets BEFORE THE SHOW ...
    though it seems to be getting later and later that the 10c window opens.

    But probably by 5 or 6 you could pick them up,
    then sell them at the show ...

    hopefully your number isn't 300xxx or higher?

    in '06 i was able to transfer my 10c tix into another 10c member's name... both of us had to send an email with our numbers and other info. i recall reading about many others who successfully did the same and would hope that they'd allow the same again this go around.

    unfortunately, the petty concert is at MSG...i was planning a bit of a mini-vaca
