I've never heard the recorded version, only live ones. Was it a Ten Club single, or a B-side or what?

    From "The Sky I Scrape"...

    1. This Victoria Williams song features Pearl Jam with Williams providing background vocals and some guitar.

    2. The song appears on Sweet Relief, a benefit for Victoria Williams who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and needed financial help to pay her medical bills.

When it first came out I thought it was about a girl who had a psychological illness, and was alone because her behavior was unpredictable. After many years, though, it seems it's just about an independent woman in a town where a woman's independence may not be supported. Like Janie in the book "Their Eyes Were Watching God."

NO WAY!!! When they play it live, it's sooo much better. When Boom and Mike trade off solos, it adds a lot to the song. But, that's your opinion. It's like they say, "When in Rome."
