Eddie Vedder Signiture Tattoo

BlackCircleBlackCircle Charlotte, NC Posts: 371
So... First off.
What's up?

I've been MIA for a year... I'll explain later.
Quick question...

I have heard a rumor that Ed will no longer sign skin for tattoos.

However, at one time... he would.

Anyone have any info why he won't sign skin for tattoos or if that is a rumor.

Cheers.

I'm like a tab

I had my skin flute signed. He could only put Ed cause of its size. ☹️ Hopefully it doesn’t give me ED.

An artist autographs your forearm with a sharpie, and then you rush to a tattoo artist to have them tattoo it on your forearm.

I have tons of tattoos but would never get that. Seems really creepy to me. But to each, their own.

oh, thanks. I kinda imagined it was something like that.. I have a better solution: let the artist directly carve their signature into your body with something sharp enough, that way you could really say he/her "signed" you.

I'm with you on that. If someone has a need to impress strangers with the band they like, just wear their t-shirt.  :)

Or have them sign your banjo! All I need is Stone and Boom:)

Question 1. Can I sign it?

Question 2. Can you list all the names who have signed it?

No, not LA. Awesome. Those are some amazing people having signed it. Thanks so much for sharing that. And I agree. A banjo is better than flesh.

So how do you have a banjo when you run into all these people? And how did you meet them all? I feel there’s a great story here.
This is what Willie Nelsons’s banjo would look like if he had one, I would just tell everyone Stone and Boom signed where the holes are.

I have been collecting signatures on my banjo since I moved to LA in 2004. I only go after artists that inspire me. I always carry my banjo with me. If I see someone, I ask and they usually sign. I also attend a lot of Jimmy Kimmel shows. Many artists will sign after the show

How’d you get Dee to sign that? Last signing I went to he would not sign any instruments so consider yourself lucky.

I thought about doing something like that with my bass, getting my favourite bass players to sign it. But I ain't carrying it around with me, and not a lot of my favourite bassists are seen walking around Winnipeg. Maybe Jim Kale of the Guess Who. LOL

Dee was hosting a Heavy Metal award show at LA Live. He actually walked up to me and said I never signed a banjo before.

I had my skin flute signed. He could only put Ed cause of its size. ☹️ Hopefully it doesn’t give me ED.
I had him sign mine too.  He didn’t sign his name though.  It looks like it just says “He” until I get excited.  Then it reads “Hey Foxymophandlemama, That's Me”.

Gotta grow before you show. I wish I had that problem. Mine says I and then when it grows you see the rest of the E and the lowercase d. No room for uppercase. ☹️

I don't want to offend you, guys, but well... mine says "Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town".. and when I'm happy (very very happy) it also shows a note "You have great taste in music... Love, Edward Louis Severson III"

That’s cool.  Maybe he saw that you had a bunch of sigs on it and knew you were an actual fan.

Very personable guy.  He is a true professional when it comes to meeting fans.  I got to watch him work his magic at his record signing last year.
