But to keep topic integrity, the Bridge School shows were a great way to play acoustic and reimagine tracks. All in all, those were the best concerts ever. I miss them so much. I would love for PJ to do an acoustic theater tour. When I saw Chris C. live and acoustic at the Modesto theatre it was life changing. Ten club only theater shows. Awesome.
The bridge school shows were the best concerts ever?
I meant the whole concerts. Not just the pj sets. The vibe of the shows. The once in a lifetime collaborations. I’ve seen hundreds on concerts but all around Bridge Schools were perfect.
    Peace,Love and Pearl Jam.

If you were lucky enough to make it to one, they were pretty special.  I went damn near every year and it was some of the best live music and good vibes I’ve ever been a part of.  I miss those shows dearly too and always thought Ed would take over if Pegi or Neil couldn’t do it anymore.  The Young’s relationship changes seemed to make it difficult and her passing was such a hard hitting one if you saw how much passion and vision she put into the Bridge School.

Yea. To see the kids and their families on stage and the interaction from the artists. I saw Paul McCartney with Eddie, Neil, Ben Harper, The Chili Peppers and I forget who else as back up singers for Hey Jude with the whole stadium singing loud and proud. Nine Inch Nails acoustic? Mind blown. Neil with Dave Matthews Band playing Down by the river. The very last live performance of Hunger Strike with Ed and Temple of the Dog(Pearl Jam) with Chris. I could go on forever with those shows. And the crowds. Never a fight. Everyone smiling all day and having a great time and seeing some of the greatest artists of all time. Nothing is like a Pearl Jam show, but nothing will ever be like the Bridge School shows. Very very lucky to have gone to a bunch of these.
    Peace,Love and Pearl Jam.

It sounds really good.  And no arguing the shows are very unique with lots of great performances.  But it doesn’t sound like the best concert ever.

Oasis knebworth was the greatest concert ever.
Definitely a good (great) one but too many songs ruined by the inclusion of a harmonica.

I find it hard to believe that Kiss was not involved in the best concert ever.

You're talking about the Tiger Stadium show in -96?

With the band doing one after just one album released, and with how  a m a z i n g  Benaroya Hall was you think there is a chance of them doing another one? It's not the "it thing" like it was in the 90s, but it is still a thing.

Liam Gallagher just did one ahead of his album release:

Heard he wasn't feeling well, so Noel subbed in for him.

If you wanna be the coolest kid at school by playing ignorant, than read the first post in this thread and you get an answer to that. No one will tell your classmates that you know about what Liam Gallagher is doing in 2019.

Still a big Noel fan.   Havent kept up with Liam’s output.   Lost track

Noels first two solo albums are supergreat. And his third is great.

Liam being in the hands of his record label and outside songwriters make his stuff a little less interesting to me. But there were some good songs on his solo debut (Wall of Glass, Bold etc).
