UNPLUGGED vol. 2?

i'm not a fan of pj's unplugged from 1992., i think that most of the songs sound too slick. some of them are great (oceans, black, keep on rockin' in the free world), but still...
anyway, i think that they were too... immature, should i say? don't get me wrong, please. i think that many of their songs have aged well (so did themselves) so this would be a good time to redo the unplugged session (with a different repertoire).
so, anyone got any suggestions for the "appropriate" songs? gimme your best shots;)

mine are (no particular order):

- oceans (here we go again:)
- all or none
- black
- low light
- light years
- love boat captain
- alive
- bugs
- faithfull
- i am mine
- go (angry version!)
- satan's bed (samba version!!)

there's more, but i'm not catching it right now:)

  • First of all, I love the '92 unplugged session. I think they did another mtv unplugged later, which was a bit less, but cool nonetheless. About your 'new' unplugged, haven't you heard of benaroya?

I agree with the Benaroya call. The set is great, the album is great. This album is one I can't stop playing. It feels pretty intimate too. Johnny Cash, Dylan & Ramones covers along with their own stuff...??? Can't beat it.

    Nothing to add.

    Well ok there is something:

I would have prefered if Mike had played an acoustic guitar on yellow led-bee-baa-better

    fan-tip-top-tastic
    BANZÄÄÄ

When he was six, he believed that the moon overhead followed him
By nine, he deciphered the illusion, trading magic for fact, no trade-backs
So this is what it's like to be an adult?
If he only knew now what he knew then
  • dunno nothing about no benaroya, here (in croatia) we seem to be a bit isolated about pj discography... most of the stuff i got is thru p2ps...
    anyone wants to explain... please...?
    kiss ya all

live at benaroya hall was released this year independently by the ten club. its from the october 2003 show where they played for the youth care foundation. it was a sit down set, and was mostly acoustic. some songs had electric guitar with the aforementioned yellow ledbetter. but it is a must have for a big pj fan. a good setlist and a very mellow show(with some intermittent bursts of energy).

    awesome
    I am questioning my education
