I didn't like "of the girl"

till I just heard it right now on the benyora hall album. I don't like the regular version on binaural.
everything has chains
absolutely nothing's changed

    of the girl was the second song i loved on binaural

    whelp i didn't like the binaural version.

    anyways, some of the songs on benyora hall album I like better than their studio versions. except lukin. that was terribly sung live but I like the album version.

    I also liked "parting ways" way better on benyora hall. the closing "Drifting away..." part was sung and performed with more passion.

    I was never a huge fan of Of the Girl myself either. Although I think I prefer the album version.

    i love the studio versions of all the songs mentioned here, and the live versions.

    i like parting ways studio better because of the viola and ed's tone. i love how he sang the end live but i still like the fade out.

    mike plays of the girl much better live.

But indeed...to each his/her own. :D Doesn't really matter how/when it happened for ya spilled_my_tincture, I'm just happy it did. :)BENAROYA really is one motherload of a boot. Out of this world versions of so many greats. I agree with ya, OF THE GIRL is surely a stand out. Goooorgeous. :o The clappin?! Those acoustics?! Good god. Sexy and beautiful as hell.

    I dunno but it sounded just kind of annoying to me originally on the album.

    i really like the studio version of of the girl, but on benaroya, holy shit! the acoustics on that sound incredi-fuckin-ble! for me, it was fatal that didn't really hit me until i heard it on that boot, and then WOW, i couldn't get enough of that song! soo beautiful.
