There is the story from Eddie in an interview about going onto the forum and private messaging a user correcting him/her on his/hers wrong interpretation of the State of Love and Trust lyrics.cp3iverson said:-They have before

I believe said person argued that Ed was wrong as well. I think that's how the story went.Spiritual_Chaos said:

-edit- I'm sure they all, at times view these boards whether they admit to it or not. Well, maybe not Boom but the rest most likely do on occasion.Post edited by darwinstheory on"A smart monkey doesn't monkey around with another monkey's monkey" - Darwin's Theory0 -
I would never go out in public, on the internet or maybe even stay on earth if I was a band member, let alone come onto this forum. His eminence has yet to show.

If I, as a member of Pearl Jam, saw the sense of entitlement amongst the people on this forum, I would be very disappointed in this fan base.0

I don’t think it would be very healthy to be a band member on this board. A bunch of people posting (myself included) knowing about 10% of what we think we know.0

I could see the fellas randomly popping on. With all the request threads seems as though Ed is reading them/receiving them.To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

I see people loving a band and wishing to see them play live again. Call it entitlement all you want but this forum for the most part loves these guys and can't wait for the new album to drop/tour to start.KM73780 said:If I, as a member of Pearl Jam, saw the sense of entitlement amongst the people on this forum, I would be very disappointed in this fan base.

The closest you'll get is someone who caught a tambourine and played along to RITFW0

I would think they would be more disappointed in the cancerous sheep mentality.KM73780 said:If I, as a member of Pearl Jam, saw the sense of entitlement amongst the people on this forum, I would be very disappointed in this fan base."Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0 -

They may also recognize that these are the people that helped make them filthy rich. Entitled, sure, but they also pay a lot of money for a service. PJ is a monopoly but making things more convenient for the customer is nice too.KM73780 said:If I, as a member of Pearl Jam, saw the sense of entitlement amongst the people on this forum, I would be very disappointed in this fan base.0 -
Fandom is the next logical outgrowth of "You didn't build that!" Maybe that is what Bernie is explaining to Ed here:bootlegger10 said:

I think Stone was active here but let his membership lapse when they quit with the holiday singles. Used that $40 to get some new coffee mugs.mookieblalock said:
