Would have preferred them picking Vaults from all the eras and years, and not choosing a show taking place on the same tour and one week after another Vault-show so soon after that one.
The same with the 1998-shows.
So, I would have rather have had this VAULT #15 or whatever and have had some 1997, 1996, 2004 etc in between. And some shows that are not from the US.
"Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"
Never heard it and its from the 90s so im 100% happy with it. Not going to deny that live PJ from 90-99 is my favorite. Every setlist is killer. At that point its all performance based.
Obviously i’d like a europe 96/asia 95/ australia 98 to represent all tours of their first decade but if i havent heard a vault before im happy.
I was hoping for something from 96 but I do think it is a solid choice for a Vault. It really is a great show and I believe the vast majority will enjoy listening to it.
I’m thinking that when shipping the vaults that Ten club sends out the corresponding event poster to random members, even if it’s a reprint of the original.

Would be cool. I believe its the piano on the stoneroad
I'm good with it. The fact that I've got a feeling is mentioned in the description makes me happy, as that was cut on the orpheum release, and it's a nice long jam

Unfortunately the Orpheum Theater show IGaF was nearly 100% missing from the master tapes according to Brett Eliason.
I've heard this show 100 times and it's great. Ideally, I'd love to have something from 93-96 that we haven't heard before in a great audience tape, but I'll take it. Can't wait for this!
it's OK. Good set list and its a show I haven't heard. I rarely default to anything early 90s anymore though so I wouldn't say its amazing. The old school sets are just an angrier time and I prefer the diversity of sets post No Code/Yield/Binaural.
Even though the set lists are limited with song choices, I love the rage and reckless abandon that these early shows bring. I actually love all stages of Pearl Jam live shows so I’m cool with anything.
I like the pick. Anything I haven’t heard a really good recording of is a good choice to me. I would love a Jack Irons show or a really unique set list show but I am still really excited about this one. Can’t wait to spin it! (In like 6months)

It's frustrating that it'll be about 18 months until we hear vault #10!

Agreed. I've had enough of the earlier shows. I'm sincerely ONLY buying them at this point to keep the collection complete (I can't seem to help it even though I want to not do that) - it's been maybe a few years now since a Vault was really really good IMO. That is a bit disappointing. I want some Jack Irons, and more that include at least Riot Act, and some S/T would be nice too..... I know what would make the wait for those eras a lot easier: RELEASE VAULT 2 ON VINYL!!!

hot take: i think this is a better pick from 93 then the 93 vault we already got..
100% agree. I hate the ending of that show (green river songs).
I agree, except it's not that I hate the songs per se. I'm glad they played them and were able to touch on that period of some of the members history, its just the placement of the songs on the physical vinyl is so aggravating. Whipping > LEASH > Porch (how PUMPED would you be by now?!) .... then > green river/dead boys to end it. blah.
You know, the more I look at all of this and compare the setlists etc, etc. I'm starting to worry we might not get the full show.
Vault #5 was only 19 songs. If you remember though, the actual show that Vault #5 represents (11/30/93 Las Vegas) had 20 songs played. Eddie and Terry Presley played the Elvis version of the song My Way. It was only like a 2 minutes thing and can totally be considered am "improv" or "ramblings." I totally understand it had been released before as a holiday single in 1995, but why would that stop them from adding it onto the end the show? My only explanation is that it wouldn't fit on the last disk, as Vault 5 was 2 lp, back and front and the D side had the aforementioned Whipping, Leash, Porch and covers clocking in at whopping 20:53. My way would have added at least 3 minutes onto that time, and like i mentioned would have been pointless to put on one single slab.
Vault #9, on the other hand, had 21 songs played at the show. The last 3 of which are the longest in I've Got A Feeling (If you haven't heard this version before, it's a jammy version I would put somewhere between 9-10 minutes long) Rearviewmirror, and Rockin In The Free World.
So if we are going by the classic vault way of 3 or 4 (sometimes maybe 5) songs per side, at least 15-20 minutes, this is the math I've come up with based on the run times on the AUD bootleg:
SIDE A (17:42) Intro/Release Even Flow Dissident/Sick o Pussies Go
SIDE B (15:40) Animal Jeremy Deep Why Go
SIDE C (19:32) Daughter/Do You Feel Lucky/W.M.A Glorified G Alive Once
SIDE D (19:25) Footsteps Porch Last Exit Tremor Christ
SIDE E (22:00... thats pushing it) Blood State of Love & Trust I've Got A Feeling RVM
SIDE ??? (5:25) Rockin In The Free World
I understand it some editing can be done to rearrange things, but I still "have a feeling" something is going to be edited off of this release.
It also seems people want a vault that isn't a U.S. show. To be fair, while I like this upcoming release, I think if they wanted to put out a 93 show they should have dug deeper in the vault and went with Rotterdam Night 2 7/17/93.
Pj plays an almost 10,000 capacity arena (which Ed talks about in the Night 1 boot) but the setlist is pretty close to this one, but gives off a European flair.
Set: Oceans (instead of a Release opener) Even Flow (Ed sure did like EF in that #2 hole) Once Whipping RVM (at #5!!!!!) Jeremy Deep Garden (which would take a 5 show break after this show) Animal State Of Love & Trust Angie (Rolling Stones cover, Ed manipulates the lyrics to talk about the people of Utrecth. The night before this they played Beast Of Burden) Black Alive Glorified G Daughter (with a Ruby Tuesday tag) Why Go
Elderly Woman Leash Porch (w/ a Dave Abbruzzese drum solo!!! for all those dave lovers out there)
Fuckin Up W.M.A (IN FULL!!!!!!) Footsteps Baba O
All I'm saying is there should be more options. What do you guys think?

I think there will be plenty of room, as the description says it is a 3 record set. You've almost crammed it into 2.5 (and I think it could be with out too much trouble) , so I think it will easily fit on 3
As for my way, pretty sure Santos or someone said it was actually part of the pre set or opener, not a final encore, which is why it wasn't included
Not as excited as I would be for any other year we don't have a vault from, but it's a good show. Oddly enough, I checked my bootlegs and I have the 12/09 show, but not 12/08. I'm going to have to listen to that one to get in the '93 zone. The Vegas '93 show was my go to favorite for years when driving.
I think they need to start figuring out a better way to get more shows out. Maybe one Vault in vinyl a year and a bunch more digitally. There are so many shows from 94-96 not released plus other ones from ‘04 etc....
Would have preferred them picking Vaults from all the eras and years, and not choosing a show taking place on the same tour and one week after another Vault-show so soon after that one.

Enough of the earlier shows? There's like 10 official bootlegs from 1990-99 and how many hundreds of bootlegs from 2000 on? I say keep the vault from 1990-99. 1990-0 1991-0 1992-2 Vault 1, Drop in the park 1993-2 Vault 5, Vault 9 1994-1 Live at the Orpheum 1995-1 Vault 7 1996-0 1997-0 1998-3 Live on 2 Legs, Vault 3, Vault 6 1999-0 2000- 72 + Vault 4 01/02-0 2003- 73 + Benny 2004- 0 2005- 32 + Vault 8 2006- 71
