    This would give us 15 in league, with smallest oceans being late to join.

    I don't like the fact that more than half the league makes the playoffs, feels too much like the NBA.  You also can't reward the top two regular season finishers with a bye week in the first round with 8.  It just seems to really water down the regular season.  I am fine with 8 though if the majority agree.

    Commish - I would also suggest you begin the conversation of how the selection of prints will work at the end of the season.  This has been a bit of a contention is some leagues I have been in.  My suggestion - Super Bowl champ gets to pick their choice of 8 posters, Super Bowl runner up picks posters 9-12, 3rd place gets picks 13 + 14.  If this was baseball or hockey I would suggest regular season champ gets a crack at something, but not in football in my opinion.
