is there any way to tell if it is a black or red version based just on the packaging?

    I do not believe the red vinyl has the hype sticker "RSD Ambassadors" on the front of the cellophane.

    Correct. The 10c red edition does not have the hype sticker on the cover. It appears that the black edition that is currently up in the shop now
    does have the hype sticker on the cover.

    I have a sealed copy that I got on RSD and there is nothing on it just like the red vinyl I received the other day from 10C. There is NO difference if you bought one back in April from a record store

    My rsd copy has the sticker. I’m surprised there is no difference in the serial # to help distinguish but there isn’t.

    So I stand corrected on the in store RSD sale. Mine did not have an RSD sticker. 😕

    Ok not to beat a dead horse but I looked again at my RSD purchase in April and there is NO UPC code on it and looks exactly like the red one I received a few weeks ago.

    Long story short - I’m an idiot and yes RSD had a hype sticker. I totally apologize for my old age DOH!

    My black one I received today that I bought in the Shop has a little circle black sticker on the outer shrink wrap.

    I received my black version today from 10C, no sticker

    Black version has a black dot sticker on it, at least mine did.
