Ed a Deftones fan?

I was listening to PJ radio the other day and after a song somewhere Ed mentions that he gets to go see the Deftones live and that he’s excited for it. I have always been a huge Deftones fan and to hear the singer of my all time favorite band name drop the Deftones was really cool and I was blown away by it. Glad Ed has great taste. Does anyone know what show this was from and anymore info on it. Thanks.
Peace,Love and Pearl Jam.

Love deftones. One of the most consistent bands on the planet. You know you’re gonna get a new album every 3 years or so and it’s going to be awesome.

I agree. IMO the Deftones have never put out a bad album and they always evolve and just are amazing.

One of the most consistent bands out there for mine. Back in the day I lived in France for a year and my first ever night in France involved seeing A Perfect Circle open for the Deftones at Bercy. Just so special. I imagine a hell of a lot of musicians of Ed's calibre would love them just due to the sheer quality of their work.

Deftones cannot either be the best or the worst at live shows but it’s true that they are releasing albums and touring regularly...it’s probably what Pearl jam would do if they were not that big. Korn is also touring a lot, those late 90s/early 2000s bands are surely touring way more than the early 90s bands.
    2012 : Amsterdam 2
    2014 : Amsterdam 1&2, Milan, Berlin, Werchter
    2018 : Amsterdam 1&2, Pinkpop, London 1, Berlin, Werchter, London 2

Deftones have been a band since before Pearl Jam existed lol. First release didn't come out until 95 tho.

i'd never seen this.  at one time they were my two favorite bands.  deftones live in the 90's was an insane experience.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

That it was.  I remember Chino doing a back flip on stage and landed hard on his back, dude didn't miss a beat while he was singing "seven words".  They were awesome live.
and the girl on the cover of around the fur was super hot.

Love Deftones!  Didn't they record one of their albums with Stone's label?

Not with Stone's label but at the Stone's studio (Studio Litho).
