The artwork. The sound. This is just a flat out amazing piece of vinyl. Still my favorite PJ record of all time.

No Code is the most under appreciated misunderstood rock record of all time.  Even by the band itself.
His eminence has yet to show.

Spun this one outside by firepit. Perfect setting and reminder why pj is the best. Never gonna get another like this but lucky they did it.

    original > repress

I haven’t heard the repress so I have nothing to compare with the original. I can say the original sounds better than most other records. The dynamics on it are absolutely insane.  I can’t imagine they could improve the sound from the original

No need to hear the repress . . . it's inferior because of the simple fact that the repress does not include the original lyrics to "Who You Are." You get, "avalanche, falling fast" instead of "circumstance, clapping hands."

Yes, and I hate it. One of the most memorable lyrics from that song. First time I spun the repress I was completely thrown off. The whole album sounds great though, so I am happy I finally got it on vinyl.
    It's a hopeless situation...

I also hate it. Why the heck did Ed change the lyrics?

Present Tense played at Randall in 96 was a great thing. I think it was the first time played. It is a great record. Anybody want the second edition vinyl? I have one taking up space. Still sealed.
