Joseph Arthur has started a cool podcast series called 'Come To Where I'm From', and he's had some really interesting guests so far.
I'll post the YouTube links below, they are well worth checking out.

You can also support Joseph via Patreon at https://www.patreon.com/cometowhereimfrom

Apart from the interviews themselves, it's good to see Joseph in a good place. He seems at ease with the format and is genuinely enjoying himself.

As a huge Mark Lanegan fan this is my favourite one so far. I've been a fan for almost 30 years, and I've never seen him laugh this much. I thought this was a fascinating interview, touching on some really dark times and absent friends, but also hysterically funny. I can't wait until his memoir comes out next year.

I've listened to 4 so far. He has a great sense of humor, is a natural at hosting, and sits down with some great guests. The Lanegan one was my favorite, too, for all the same reasons. Looking forward to the inevitable Greg Dulli episode.

Yeah, surely he has to get Dulli on there eventually. It would be great if he could get Jeff Ament on there as well

I saw an Instagram post where Joseph was asking if anyone could get him in touch with Bill Murray too. That would be fun to watch.

Not that I want to take his current guests for granted, but I've been daydreaming about the possibilities: Mike Mills, Peter Buck, Peter Gabriel, etc. And, yeah, Jeff would be awesome.

I cannot wait for Lanegan's memoir. The little teases of some of those stories are insane.

I commented on one of Joseph’s Instagram posts earlier, suggesting that Mike McCready would be a great guest for the podcast.

His response was... “It’s coming”  :o

Great. Will listen tomorrow at work.

  • The Mark Lanegan one was indeed brilliant, he seemed much more light hearted than I thought he would be.  Greg Dulli would be really cool.

Bump. Just watched Jimmy G on JAs podcast. Love Murphy's Law. They were one of the last bands I saw before covid shutdown. NYHC stories. Talks about some of the places I used to go to. He is some storyteller.

    Watch it!
