Top 5

what are your top 5 bands/artists that you have never seen live? Here’s the catch. They have to be dead so there is no chance to see them. The ultimate concert list. No particular order of you don’t want.

Heres mine
1. Hendrix
2. Lennon
3. Jeff Buckley
4. Blind Melon
5.  Soundgarden*
* saw Soundgarden at the Bridge School Benefit. That was all acoustic. Never got to see them in full glory.
Peace,Love and Pearl Jam.

    Alice In Chains
    David Bowie
    Joy Division
    Jeff Buckley

I've seen Waters a ton, Gilmour and Mason once each. Would've loved to see them all together before Rick died.

I caught the reformed AIC on their first club tour, but that just wasn't it.

Alice In Chains w/ Layne, Cash, Cooke all great choices. One I could add is Prince.
    Peace,Love and Pearl Jam.

    nirvana
Rage (they aren't dead, but unlikely to tour and was my biggest music regret, not seeing them in the 90's)

That’s in no particular order for me.  I could probably take this list out another 10-15.  It’s really hard to narrow down to 5.

I'm gonna say the Talking Heads for the same reason...and they are even more unlikely to ever play together again than Rage

My 5 - Prince, Queen, Nirvana, Frank Zappa, The Band

prince was suppose to play the St. Louis Fox theatre around the time he passed away, or so the story goes.
I would had marked him off bucket list then, sadly he left us.

Ive been lucky enough to catch most of the bands I wanted to see live.   Or at least the main pieces in the puzzle.   Seen roger waters, the Who, Page & Plant.    I’m too young to had seen the real deal on those acts (and 3 of 5 on my list for that matter) so that’s good enough for me.

its hard to leave Blind Melon off that list.   Had tickets to see them, john cougar, and Neil Young at a flood relief benefit concert, but it got flooded out, go figure.     Did see them with travis on vocals, might big shoes to fill and he knocked it out of the park.

I guess it all depends if Neil has really forgiven David for calling Daryl a Purely Poisonous Predator.

I feel like one of addressed it recently (Maybe Neil on his archives?). And from the comment, Not likely.

And I guess the David also pissed off Nash (I believe) with some comments about Nash’s book.

Good thing i got to see them at the Bridge School Benefit a couple years. And Buffalo Springfield.
    Peace,Love and Pearl Jam.
