How will I know the tears have stopped, with the rain relentlessly running through.
I'm no longer the same person I thought I knew, all my goodbyes changing year by year.
All these moments I saved for you, now walking silently by the by.
The whispers of your light were so beautiful to behold, released gently back into the fold.

I still remember the words you didn't speak to me then.
The silence haunts me still; that emptiness never ends.
