This is currently my favorite song. A Matt Cameron gem, I can't believe it only made Lost Dogs and not an album. Anyone know what it might be about? I have a few ideas but none of them seem right.

Matt Cameron brings the FUNK!!! He was known for doing it with SG...and it has ooooozed into PJ and I fuckin LOVE it! This is definitely a prime example. IN THE MOONLIGHT is such a sexy ass rockin song.
My interpretation is a quite simple one, I just see it as naturally being a love song....a love/someone that brightens your darkest days....glows. I don't know, very simple and vauge I'm sure...but that's what I get from it.

I listened to LOST DOGS for the 1st time in waaaay too long the other night. This sexy groove slapped me upside the head. Whoa! When I think of Sexy PJness I always just think Of the Girl & You Are...but no no NO, this is another one to add to sexy sexy list.

I have a radio show at college....was walking in one night...full moon out...HAD to play this song first.
So, I play it about once a month...
Matt Cameron comes at song writing from an un-thought-of direction. His skills compliment this band so much. And, in a way, he's always been part of the band.
Just looking at the tracks on Lost Dogs that were part of the Binaural recording sessions, you start to think, what if these were included on that disc? In The Moonlight, Fatal, Education, Hitchhiker and Sad.
The musical experimentation is so evident: different beats, layered vocal tracks, varying subject matter...
