Jennifer Lopez 'Get Right'

So today I turned on my old computer that I don't really use anymore, and guess what pops up?

First thing I thought was 'ok... concidence, lots of songs have the same name'

Next I decide to look up the lyrics. A lot different from Pearl Jam's 'Get Right' at first (which BTW came out before that bitch J Lo's version). A lot different until I read the chorus:

"I'm about to sign you up, we can get right
before the night is up,
we can get right, we can get right, we can get right,
I'm about to fill you're cup, we can get right,
before the night is up,
we can get right, tonight, we can get right"

It's obvious that the meaning is the same as in Pearl Jam's 'Get Right'. There's no way this is just coincidence. Someone get be a brown paper bag, because I want to puke.

    yeah, get right is a pretty common expression, pearl jam dosen't own the patent.

    Unfortunately Ms. Lo either hasn't ever seen a thesaurus or she just enjoys repetition.

    Regardless, it is unworth the hypertension, perhaps you should "Get Right" ?
    My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

    I have a feeling that jLo hasn´t heard pj - get right and therefore I have a hard time believing that she would have copied it! But I just might be wrong.. Maybe she is a die-hard PJ fan...
