Same Song Title, Different Band/Artist: "Down”

Happy Friday All!  This title, besides yours truly (Pearl Jam), is used A LOT.  At the risk of many voting for the hometown favorite, I am including PJ in this poll.  The title this week is "Down." If there is an option not listed below, please feel free to bring it up!

Pearl Jam - Released in 2002 as a B-Side on the single of "Bu$hleaguer"
Stone Temple Pilots - Released as a single in 1999 and is the opening track on their album, "No. 4"
311 - Released as a single in 1996 off of their self-titled album
blink-182 - Released as a single in 2004 off of their self-titled album
The Kooks - Released as a single in 2014 off of their album "Listen"
Jay Sean (feat. Lil' Wayne) - Released as a single in 2009 off of the album "All or Nothing"
Marian Hill - Released as a single in 2016 off of their album "Act One"
Fifth Harmony - Released as a single in 2017 off of their self-titled album
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

I highly recommend it.  I had to do so last night.  I did enjoy the Kooks and Marian Hill versions a lot.  That was the first time I heard each.

Nice choice of shared song title. One of the few times I won't choose PJ (it was close).

Might be tricky for me to do my "usual" close-but-not-quite-the-same-title this week! However....
Nirvana's "Downer" and Smashing Pumpkins "Drown" come to mind. :-)

No. 4 is my favorite album of theirs.  Down’s a good opener.

You gave up on STP after Tiny Music? Picky picky

All these songs go from bland to bad, except for PJ.

I even enjoy Shang-ra-la-de-da.  I'm sure I've said this before, but Scott Weiland had an incredible and versatile voice for a front man.

A lot of people did (I was sorta in the same boat...1996 was a bit of a "transition" year in rock music).
