Here's what I went with:

5. Society

6. Last Kiss

If I was going to include, Last Kiss, then I could stick to just five. She came into town this weekend, so I gave her the CD.

I'll report back on her thoughts on the songs, and if her opinion of Ed's voice changes or not.

Agreed! My daughter used that album for a music project in the 6th grade. And yes, she got an A.

That's exactly it. Of course there are much better PJ songs (or even Ed solo songs) that I could had put on there. My main goal is to change her opinion on Ed's voice. I know she will never become a PJ fan.

"I have to admit, this is not the Pearl Jam I thought I knew. The lyrics are meaningful and thoughtful. Thanks for slecting some songs that would change my mind about Pearl Jam! I also take back that he can't sing. He is quite good. If you hadn't made the CD for me, I wouldn't have known."

I do not ever see that happening, but I also never thought she would appreciate PJ/Ed's voice, so I guess you never know.

Took my mom to Elton John last year. One of the best moments I have ever had with my mom. I do not see her ever wanting to go to a Pearl Jam concert but there are definitely songs she likes. Mostly ones I do not though lol.
