Definitely a better live song... faster, more aggressive, vocals sound better raw

Studio recording feels a little slow and loses the anger a bit.

The studio recording sounds like a rough mix or something. Just awful. It's fine live though.

I agree. It's actually a pretty damn good tune. I hope if it's on the new record (assuming there is one) that they re-record this song. I'd be fine with it if they can make a studio version sound like it does here.

Like it, however don’t love it, however it also may fit seemlessly into a complete body of work ie a whole album

i personally think its a major faux pas to put a song on an album after so much time.

    Is there any precedent?

I mean other than, songs like Silver & Gold (Neil Young) being played for decades live before released on a studio album.

But is there other examples of a single being released, and the album not coming out for a long-long time?

Heres my hot take: I'll gladly take this song over Of The Earth any show. And for the next record.

It is a better song live than the studio version they put out. So hopefully they re-record it to make it a bit more raw and aggressive, like the live version.

Way better on this live version. Not their best, but short enough to make it through. Reminds me of Big Wave or Comatose.

They kept comatose in rotation for far to long.

Cant Deny Me atleast has Eddie banging away on something. Which looks charming.

And I will +1 cant deny me > off the earth

Can’t Deny Me over Of The Earth? I apparently have much different taste in PJ than some of you. That’s okay, it’s all good!
