Evacuation Meaning

I know a lot of people dislike this tune...but I enjoy it. I think it has something to do with us killing this planet and "we need to take heed and change direction" anyone else think this song has anything to do with mans battle with the environment or I am just on crack.

    when i saw them at jones beach in 2000 i ran for the bathroom when this song came on......and alot of other people did too.....and i looked around and saw all these people running out to piss as ed yelled "Evacuation!!!" and it was then that i realized what the true meaning of the song was

    I always thought this song was about taking a massive crap. Seriously, listen to the words, it is all about the largest shit ever!

    No way! Whats up with needing a toilet stop anyway, id sooner piss my pants before missing anything. And with it not being GA shows anymore, youre guaranteed to not get any on anyone. Evacuation sure wouldnt be my piss song, nor would any coz you never know what youll miss. What if you miss a small tits, shoe or coin rant?

    I always thought the song generally had something to do with emotions. Like having a sudden moodswing or mental breakdown, and needing to "escape from the world." The line about the solemn man always makes me think of that for some reason, I don't know why.

    I think it's almost certainly a political song, although I have no idea what it is specifically about.

    Or, failing that, it could be about taking a shit.

    I used to loathe the song. I am now indifferent to it. I can get into it live.
