June 18 2018. London. Still a champ! Second London show is the only show ever cancelled because of voice problems. Band came back with a vengeance in Milan a few days later. And returned for the second London show a month later (surprisingly to me though the arena did not sell out then).

Great show despite his voice trouble. Went to London from Chicago to see those shows. Absolute dagger to have the second one canceled, still lucky enough to have seen the first. To many more.

Ed did an amazing job that night given the problems with his voice. It was a bit rough early on but I thought it settled down and I didn't really notice much difference to usual.

The biggest thing from this show is that he said he knows Liam Gallagher (!!!) - so why haven't they done a Supersonic-Supersonic mash up together live yet?!

Went to Italy to catch the Milan and Padova gigs. Ed took care of his voice in Milan-sipped tea/honey/whatever throughout, Stone did Mankind and Mike stepped up by soloing like a madman. PJ are so lucky they have Mike who can just obliterate a crowd when Ed feels off his game or if the band isn't their usual mesmerising selves. Only 19 songs too. Actually thought Don't Gimme No Lip would get a run for that reason. But was great even if it couldn't hit that next level. The crowd were awesome though and helped the guys through it. Ed was back on form in Padova though. Awesome-did Spin The Black Circle too which was a massive surprise and special for me as I'd not seen it live before.

My mate had tickets to the postponed London gig and knew the makeup gig's set list would be special. So jealous I couldn't make that one.
