Pearl Jam and The Black Crowes

Twice in the last 2 days I've heard the Crowes on the PJ channel - I missed the intro/premise of why they are on both times - anyone know?  I'm a huge fan of both....they've never been linked/mentioned in the same breath before by either members or on the channel - what did I miss?  Guest DJ?     Jeff is a big fan.  Talks about their 2nd record being one of his favorites.
