    PEARL JAM HOME X AWAY MOPOP EXHIBIT POSTER

    Poster by: Rosie Alyea, Exhibits Graphic Designer at MoPop.

    Rosie created all of the graphics for the Pearl Jam Home X Away Exhibit at MoPop. This poster was inspired by the incredible amount of visual art in the exhibit along with PJ's influence in the community and their commitment to working to fight homelessness.

    Silk-screened on standard French neutral paper.

    I cannot understand the enthusiasm for this poster -  it's dreadful. Looks like something your kindergartner would draw and you'd have to put it on the refrigerator so their feelings wouldn't be hurt.

    I actually like it.  Oddly enough it will be going in my kindergartner’s room.

    Just logged in from work over lunch.  Sold out while in my cart.  Does anyone know if things reappear on the club like stuff does on some artists pages if you keep refreshing?

    wwideeyeddI was honored to create a limited series of prints for Pearl Jam’s current exhibition @mopop. You can find both the copper and natural versions soon at both the museum and the band’s website.
    The imagery speaks to the the homeless crisis in Seattle in the guise of a double-headed tiger. Each face highlights the conflicting perspectives and vastly different realities of this city—those of the rich and those of the poor. Pearl Jam is inspiring in their efforts to combat this crisis through their concerts and local stewardship.  #seattle #pearljam

    Great explanation of the idea behind the poster.  I like that the artists have been allowed to put a message on the back of the posters lately.  It definitely makes my appreciation of the art go up a level.  It’s cool to know what the artist was thinking when they came up with the poster.
