That’s an interesting story.  Especially how the band denied being responsible for the poster.

As a Brazilian citizen, I just wanted to add a small correction: the Dead Kennedys didn't piss off "all of Brazil" with the concert poster, as that article states. They pissed off the supporters of our president. The lack of ability to handle with criticism that we see in these people is worrying, culminating in a distorted kind of censorship that tries to suppress all kinds of opinions and ideas that are contrary to what they believe in. The Dead Kennedys, being a band that always had political points of view, disappointed some of their fans for stepping out of the discussion. There are several reasons why this government is so criticized (all of them very valid) and we shouldn't just ignore them. Some people are struggling to be heard, while others try their hardest to shut them up. This is not the so-called democracy we advertise as being real.
