Given To Live had the privilege of letting a mother and daughter they’re each having their show.

Domestic abuse survivors their shows are Andy Black & Eddie Vedder.

Mum and daughter have both asked for their story to be told as the truth, one incident described was life threatening. They want their story told because they know they are not alone and by speaking up hope, comfort or understanding could find its way to someone suffering in silence or trying to recover from domestic abuse.***

When Nicky got in touch with us to give her daughter, Ellie, a show we had no hesitation. No one should witness or suffer domestic violence. And as Nicky shared incident after incident the one constant was Nicky. Surely we could give Nicky her show, her chance to be honoured and celebrated for who she is. A courageous women carrying tremendous heartache, fighting for herself and her children to have a fear free life.
