All or None

It's a hopeless... situation
And I'm starting to believe
That this hopeless... situation
Is what I'm trying to achieve

But I try
To run on
Towards
All or none,... all or none

Here's the selfless confession
Leading me back to war
Can we help that,.. our destinations
Are the ones we've been before

I still try
To run on
Towards all
Or none,... all or none

To myself I... surrender
To the one I'll never please

But I still try,.. to run on
I still try,.. to run on
But it's
All or none,... all or none.

Definitely a rainy day song that makes a rainy day rainier. I bet you the song was written on a rainy day. It just has "grey dreary grey dreary" written all over it? And bad weather days, result in bad weather weeks, which result in grey dreary grey dreary rainy day lyrics. What do you think? I did a search for this title so I could just add to an existing thread, but all and none are too common.

What do you think it should be? I don't have the CD handy.

Actually, I think I like the towards better. It gives the protagonist direction.

  • I always seem to cry to this song. It's so depressingly beautiful which makes it hard to fight back the tears every time I hear it. Sometimes it's a single tear and sometimes it's a river of 'em, depending on the state I'm in at that given time.

Heard it live in Zagreb on Sep 26 and needless to say I love it even more now.
Just put a bend in the road, I'm growing tired of straight lines...
