Germany Ticketmaster and getting tickets delivered...

Why does it seem like to you need to get your tickets delivered by regular mail (35 euros to Sweden.......) instead of just getting a PDF eTicket like over here?

IT'S 2019.

Or is it something I'm missing here...  Any Germans who know?

I guess it will apply for Eddie Vedder later this too week if buying from the german ticketmaster.,...

Think ticketmaster.co.uk is the same. Very silly and expensive

Eddie tickets will be sold by tickets.de. E-tickets only. Nothing to do with Ticketmaster.

Tickets.de has been great. The tickets are usually personalized (and also this time) :

"Tickets for Eddie Vedder will exclusively be sold personalized. Personalized means, that every single ticket is bounded to one person who is mentioned by name on it."

You have to give the names when you buy the tickets. But what if you can't make it? - then you can put your tickets on sale at their web site. You can charge face value or less. If someone buys your ticket, then your ticket is no longer valid and the buyer is issued a new ticket. This pretty much eliminates scalping.

Please note, this does not apply to 10 club tickets. You pick those up with your ID at the venue and can give the other ticket to whoever you want.

What about eventim.de? I want to buy tickets to Raconteurs and checked tickets to Neil Youn. The shipping to Poland is 35 Eur? Wtf? No e-tickets? Can someone explain?

I take ticket directly on the arena webside (for SAP Arena in Mannheim)

    it's 10 euros for send (it's better than 35 euros !)

Eventim sucks balls with their delivery charges. How hard is it to offer e-tickets? I can't remember which show it was, but paying 40 euros + 35 for delivery felt like a robbery.

Here in Finland there is an agency called lippu.fi, they are owned by Eventim and use the exact same website system. When I order tickets from them to concerts in Finland, e-tickets are always possible + they only charge like 8 euros to mail actual tickets. The funny part is this: The tickets are mailed from the same German Eventim head office as the tickets from eventim.de. I don't understand where the 30 euro difference comes from

I live in Germany and I‘d be happy to help! The German Post offers regular letters for a Euro or so, including tracking it’s like 3-4 Euro. The downside is no insurance

Oh shit. I've already bought the tickets now. Thank you anyway.

According to Ticketmaster.de it's not up to them if eTickets are available for individual shows.

They did tell me to email them though, if I bought tickets to several shows so they could send them in one envelope and pay back some of the shipping charges. So, if you plan on buying to several shows that's an option atleast.
