Wow, just listenin to the Riot Act, and this suddenly blows me away. Puts me in such a great mood-makes me feel like i can do anything. Don't know why, it's just pure Class.

    I love that song! I can be in the worst mood--totally mad at the world--and that song really helps to ease my mind. I remember the first time I heard it and it had such a powerful effect on me. Now I've listened to it hundreds of times since then and it still has a powerful effect on me.

    The song is such a testament to Ed's genuis--he can take a (seemingly) simple notion and make it so poignant and beautiful.

    i loved it when the song first came out.... but got bored of it when they played it at every show.... but now, i'm lovin' it again!

    hmm... Thats just reminded me to listen to that album again, it's been a while. I love it when you go back to an album after some time away and it sound fresh, and has new life about it.
    'Fox hunting is barbaric, the people who do it are a bunch of snobby tories with stupid posh accents. Oh damn, i didn't say that - damn, what a giveaway...'

    My Riot Act messes up and starts skipping during You Are. I still need to buy a new one. Love I Am Mine tho. It is awesome. I will never forget watching that video for the first time and seeing Eddie with short hair, and I was like
    "that can't be eddie" LOL. It was def Eddie.

    And do you hichhike a lot?
    I do and it rules, it gives me a compairable failing. You know a feeling of equality and this wonderful feeling of where ever I go, where ever I end up, I know I'll be happy there. You know learn to enjoy the small things, accept the things you can't change and all that.

    I Am Mine is definitley a fun song. I'm like you, a while after Riot Act was released it just kind of hit me. Pearl Jam is really good for that.
