    Stone, please get to work and record some riffs. Ed will write the words and Jeff can figure out some melodies. Mike will fill in the blanks and Matt will pound away perfect.

    Yes, honestly. You know we travel to your shows, or at least try very hard. Please, Pearl Jam use this thread for inspiration. An album, I am not much fussy about. Your legacy is cemented, I don't need another song. I know most here disagree. But please, if you're tired of travel, burnt out, getting older and don't want to be away from your families, friends, homes, do a residency in Seattle, or the Pacific North West. We will try our best to see you.

    I thought about this too because I procrastinate so badly. I thought Ed's gotta just be putting it off, but then I realized that there might be something else going on. That's a big box to open I know. Speaking for myself, I have made the mistake of assuming stuff about people, things, etc. for years. Really sucks to be selfish. So I just hope all is well, and I will dearly appreciate it if and when some new tunes come to us all. Best and safety to all. 
    Be different & make a difference. Decency & kindness @ a grassroots level works.

    We need the band to get the Time Clock out of storage from the Single Video Theory dvd. Then we can see who has been showing up for work and who has not!  =)

    I have a theory here. In the PJ documentary, during the Vitalogy era part of the film, Mike mentions some thing along these lines...

    To say who was in "power"... Stone early on... Ed now.

    Maybe now it's the other guys turn to write, get meetings going, and get something out.

    And 13 years since "Self-Titled", which IMHO, was the last time I heard any real creative expression. Lighting Bolt was just okay, and Backspacer was pretty bland.

    If Ed doesn't want to get in the studio at this stage, I wish the rest of the band would. Create some great music, send to Ed to write lyrics to in his own time.
