Do they still produce singles like Jeremy etc?

Today in the store, i went to the single section and found the Jeremy single. It said 1992 and that was the only date on it. Do they still make these singles or is this really from 1992?

    it's a safe bet that the 1992 is the date it was originally released, but it has since been re-printed.
